swap a 178 for 175?

Took the carb apart ('01 xr650r). It has 178 with 65s pilot jet. Would I see much performance difference putting in a 175 with 68s? Rarely ride above 3000'.Procircuit T4 pipe

I would just put the 68s in. Inless you are running ritch. Then you could put/add holes in the air filter side cover and that will lean it out. What it the needle at?

The needle was at the 4th position from the top.
