I (well, my wife) had a '91 Storm GSI. Great car, reliable as hell. Broke the rubber band at 110k, didn't smack the valves. Gave it to the daughter at about 150k... I don't think she ever did anything other than ADD oil and it lasted to over 200k before she gave it up for scrap with a tranny ready to go. Body was still straight and she probably could have gotten a couple of grand for it, but she was too lazy to sell it, we didn't have a place to park it, and we were selling her our 2000 Echo (this was in Dec '03) so there was no way to trade it in.
