New to me today. '06 650l with 6000 miles. Needs a rear tire and some cleaning but runs great! $2300 seemed like a pretty good deal. Now to go look at more bikes to decide what to do next:banana:

Not as nice as many in here, but here's my ride...

Picked up my '86 XR600R cheap, it was ugly! Here's before and after...

It's got a fresh rebuild, with new crank, Wiseco piston and rings, fresh bore and hone, new valve seals, valve seats reworked, etc. Second gear was broken, so it got a "new" used tranny from another engine. It could still use a rear tire, but that one will do for now...

Here´s a few pictures of my new BRP. They are extremely rare and hard to find here in Norway, so I´m very pleased as I managed to pick up one in mint condition, only 5000 km on it. It came with both motard and enduro wheels, Big Gun exhaust, and HRC stage 1 kit installed. Starts easy, and runs great. I couldn´t be happier!

Add a Fcr 41 carb and a UPSD fork. You want regret it.
If you have interest in a good UPSD fork already adapted to the 650R (and street use) shoot me a Pm. I'm in Europe. :worthy:

And ? Good or bad?

The carburettor is tuned in for the original exhaust, so it might not be optimal for the arrow.

I think the top-end became better, feels lik it pulls harder an longer in each gear. Might be that I lost som bottom-end power, but I really don't know for sure.

It gets 4/5, good finish and sound/power.

You have to rejet to bring the low end back.Try a 68S pilot and a 180 main(or bigger depending on the temp/other mods) as a start. You can ad the airbox mod and the Twin Air filter system (filter + screen), you prob. need the 70S than. If you want real modern world power install a Keihin fcr. :worthy:

I already got a 68s and 182 I think, and the airbox is full of holes, hehe.

There is a Tm-42 waiting to be installed, just need som time to do it =)

Try the 70S or cover some holes (= richer) and try out.

I'm seriously thinking about putting my stock wheels and knobbies back on for the Summer. There's so many dirt roads around here that the temptation to get dirty is irresistible. :worthy:
