Just so I don't have to keep jumping back and forth.

That looks like a back up clutch cable to me.

carbon fiber is from Touratech Germany...Cycoactive ordered it for me. I had to put some zip tyes around it to get it to stay put. I was after the closed up areas between the frame/chain/sprocket as a buddy had a rock go in there and jamb up once--had to chisel it out...

yep thats a back up clutch cable...

above the license plate there are dual XR400 sealed running lights-as per FIM rules-below is a B/D LED brake light, and the aluminum plate holds the Sentinel - a device that sounds the horn if someone is about to pass me.

its got to much to list--but some of the cooler features are the AC/DC charging system with 3 seperate battery packs for the A5 roadbook, dual computers, HID and halogen lights, horn, GPS, etc...its even got storage for parts/tubes/etc. The thumb controls can work all the electronics. I made the cockpit/fairing unit with a custom brace and i morphed a BD Tecate light onto a BMW 650 Dakar optional 'tall' windscreen of smoked lexan. The electronics are mounted onto the crossbar of the twin wall renthals with a GPR underneath stabilizer...it took a bit of trial and error to figure it out--but it works well. After practicing in sand dunes at night--i realized the lights need to turn to see other ways around the 100ft drop offs...

the skid plate holds 3 litres of water, the dual fuel tanks 10.5 gallons. 200 mile range thru the sand dunes--almost 300 miles on gravel roads.

Frogman;
Your stable looks pretty well stocked, too!

There's a CR and an XR 600 that don't get much use out in the shed. Wish I could say they were all mine! :applause:

FJT

My 03 "L" Model :applause:

Just a few more mods, braided lines and footpegs and I am retired !

Ok..maybe an eventual hotcam and headpipe...but I swear then I am done pouring money into my big piggy.

Here's an idea, a "freebie" ... drilled 4 holes, and bobbed the beak about 5-6" ... should be a lot more air gettin to the motor now
