Heres my latest pic. I recently did a 89 CR500 USD fork swap, which in no-time blew the fork seals. I then found a freshly se-up set of 91 CR500 fork tubes set up by Factory Connection for a great price. Spring rate is perfect for me/bike, according to Race Tech's spring calc. And I couldnt agree more. The bike handle whoops awazing. I have a WP rear shock on the way. Bike now has Excel gold rims, w/gold ano Talon hubs. Really happy w/th new susp on the BWP.

Hey Zipper how much fooling around did you do to get the KTM muffler to fit?
I have the stock one off my KTM530 in a box in the shed and the idea never occured to me to fit it on my XR600 untill I saw yours.
BTW I love that bike of yours!!!

Thanks...about the mufler was quite easy as i only had to get made a connection pipe.I didnt used the springs sytem that KTM uses to hold muffler to the connection pipe.Just weld it. And used the original support on the pipe on the original XR place.

ok, now you´re gonna explain me what a bong is.....

Something that has no place in a forum like this.

Lets also try to keep the chit chat in other threads. This should be just a pic thread.

Thanks,

Rich

Hey Zipper,How's this look? It isn't connected yet, like most jobs, there is more to it than first expected and I am now wondering if it is worth the effort and the expense.I will have to cut my stock pipe to get the piece I need so it doesn't hit the rear wheel. I kinda like it but I am not sure????

This little Piggy went on a diet.
I've stripped everything that wasn't essential. Knocked off about 35 pounds. Battery is in the air box. I used a DRZ400 battery, so the air filter got to stay where it was. It feels like a different bike without the battery box hanging off the side of the bike.
