I've got an '82 XL125 that's a project right now, and an '82 XR250R that was resurrected from a yard sale. Unfortunately neither of them ar as clean as your group.

Nice road warrior there MOTO, did you get your JT rear sprocket from TT store? there wierd looking with the fingers for mounting, but the black does look cool.

I just noticed that sprocket too. I wonder if I actually have an L or an R sprocket, or if he has an L sprocket?:thumbsup:

Thanks, that bike is a lot more fun than I thought it would be. I got the sprocket from my local shop and it said R on the package. The black Radiator shrouds came from UFO via XR's only, and the seat was built by a local guy here that does them. They are very ugly but way comfortable. I also re-valved the boingers and put stiffer springs front and rear.

Years of trial and error. A heat gun, razor blade, and some vinyl number plate background material sold at most bike shops. The black vinyl above the red is sold in rolls at most sign shops. Be patient with it.

Im new to the 650l's. i just got my motorcycle license a couple of weeks ago and got this bike about the same time. shes my new pride and joy. i love riding. I had to put a clutch in it. besides that its in great condition. sorry about the picture quality. only one i have right now.
