You did "Daves' Mod" and installed the DynoJet Kit....................... I am curious did you "drill holes in the slide" (Dave's Mod) and use the "lighter spring" (DynoJet Kit)............how is it working out?

No need to drill holes in the slide. But you should dremel the tab (on the carb, not the screw) restricting the air the fuel screw on the bottom of the carb...makes tuning the carb much easier...put new jets, spring, and needle in, take out the snorkel, drill a few holes in the air box, grab a uni filter the fuel baffle doesnt make much difference to me. And DO A DE-SMOG!!!

Picked this one up from a good friend about a month ago. Totally uncorked, desert tank, and Noleen suspension. I just put a trail tech speedo on it this week and changed out the front fender to a CRF450 style. Came with two boxes of OEM parts and some stock stuff. It's fun.

Hey Everybody,

I just became a new XR600R owner. Picked it up this month with 6600 km on board from the first owner. Got some stuff to do on it until I can  :ride:  it. What do you think about it?

cheers, Zippie13

My first post on this forum is a picture of my Honda XR650R 2000. On the picture it has Excel rims, 320 mm front brake disc, CRF 450 front fender, and a 16 litre Clarke tank.

My new pig. I call her Ronda. Few niggling issues with her which I’ll be searching the forums for answers to. I like the way she rides right now though but I know there’s more power to be had.
