Hey dukie nice bike would mind tellin me what tires your runnin on the pig?

They were on the bike when I bought it. Pirelli Rally Cross on the rear and a Michelin T63 in front. They were worn so I don't have a real opinion on either.

I use mine for light street use (no highways/freeways) and fireroads. No real serious off road stuff. I want a DOT knobby that will last and work well off road, I don't need it to be a good street tire.

Here's mine. 2002 XR650L with 13k miles. It has already been modded with the essentials so I don't have to. Yeah I know, the joy of farkling. I farkled a DRZ and KLR. I just want to ride. At time of pic, I put the Cobra on that was an extra pipe. It was a tad too loud, so I put the FMF Q4 back on. I am waiting for new pair of Shinko 705s to install. Can't wait to go for a good ride.

Well my winter rebuild is almost 100% complete. Buttoned up the FCR install & battery relocate this month. Also retrofit a H4 bulb into the xr600r headlight shell and removed and shortened and rewired most of the woring harness to make sure everything is routed properly and secure.

I also picked up a full set of XR600R plastics locally and retrofitted them to the XRL.

All that's left is the tank and a few other small finish8ng pieces that are in the mail.

^ Heli-Mech is that a Cycleworks gripper seat cover? I just got one and boy does it look like I have to stretch the hell out of it.

It's just a generic gripper seat cover off ebay. I found putting it in the dryer for 5-10 minutes to warm the cover helped ... just don't heat it to much and to long.

Also have a hairdryer handy to help warm and stretch the cover as u pull it over the seat foam and base.

Alright. A little late but here is my new to me DS pig. 88, crf forks, Mukuni fcr. It's a little beat up but I am getting it road worthy for now. I will strip it down to the frame next year.
