Hey RC30, I got a question about some of that sexy italian machinery- what are you guys doing to get to the later style of radiator shrouds? Seems to me that one of the main problems with the look of the 650R is that you can only get the rad shrouds in red... A lot of the pictures you posted look to have a tank swap which then allows nicer shrouds- what tanks? Is everyone running the Monier setup?

Thanks!
Robert

PS: Spent two weeks in Milano last October, rented bikes for a day and bombed around Lake Garda. Planning a return for May it was so freaking great. The guys who rented us the bikes saw our enormous grins and asked, "So, we will see you again next year?"

" 'Sta minchia!" was my reply :applause:

Ciao porterdog, I like very much the classic style of the 650R, style which recalls the CR of the 80’s. :applause:

In fact my scoops are remained like stock version also for the color.

Most tanks that you see are made by Bl-Italia on specifications of a pair of XR-Italia users and that's being successful very much.

The difference with stock tank is dual, best and actual drive position and best modern look, the scoops are of the CRF model.

The bike of Stefano80 and CiroIX instead mount the Monnier tanks.

Stefano80 has mounted the scoops of the Monnier kit which are of 90’s CR, CiroIX instead to mounted the scoops of CRF, in both of the cases the look is pleasant and modern. :applause:

Ciaoooooo
