Glad to. 2012 650L raised bars up 3" and forward 3", had to get cables x4. A-loop tank/ seat kit, heated grips, MEFO rear, super explorer 140/80/18, tw301 up front. Kouba lowering link down in back inch n' 3 quarter. Once the bars were raised an the link installed, this bike fits like it should as I am down into the bike and not ridin' top heavy. Fits like a dirt bike now and no more tipping over when stopping on low side of a trail. :)

How do you like the A-loop kit? Have it on my xr400 make the bike feel way narrower, but the tank is a little small.

The A-loop kit is way better for the bike, the smaller tank isn't an issue for me since gas stations are everywhere. If I were to go for a long haul up in northern Maine woods, I would simply bring a couple gallons in my backpack or strap 'em down on rear fender.  Two gal. gas weighs 16lbs.   so no big deal.  BTW one of the best mod I did was to buy bicycle mirrors at wallmart for 8 bucks each. The kind that are made to( fit on bicycle handlebars).  I mounted them with the Velcro included, and a couple zip ties,   to the directionals and WOW!  underbar mirrors that don't shake or move and I can see behind even better than them goofy top side ones .  Btw see my youtube ch.    you will LOL  (twing21able)

Hey all, new guy here, just bought my second XR650L, new one is 2014 with only one mod so far, a Battery Tender terminal harness for charging stuff and running the gps..... Old bike was a '96 or '98 model, can't really remember which one.....  Burned up the engine on that bike trying to ride Colorado to Alaska, only made San Francisco on it before the engine cooked and had to switch to a Harley, ugh.  Replaced dead Pig for a new BMW dual sport and immediately wished I had bought a Pig....  Looking forward to reading this thread for tips and info.

Thanks - BlenderDriver

Excel takasaga rims, Buchanan stainless steel spokes, stock hubs. Got the stuff from http://www.ksrwheels.net/ And the XR master over on adv rider(mcma111) laced and trued them for me. All in all probably $425 and the beer to have them laced and trued :) :)
Hope it helps.

$425 for both? Looks great.
