xrl's are 2.15 and 1.6, so just a bit wider. they're not off an xrl though, they're from an NX650

Yup, picked up on the NX thing, just didn't know how they compared to my XRL's might pick up a set of those same width tires next season.

Sweet sounding thumper!!! When you're ready to fix up your seat and want something that looks original get in touch with 'catuk' - he can make a perfect seat cover up for your beast.

Here's my piggy and the dude I bought it from. I've done a lot of mods since I bought it, but this is a great picture from a place we dual sport ride in Oregon...

Nice pic, where in Oregon is this? are there dirt or road trails?

Posted Image got her about a month ago.... I have a Yamaha R6 so this whole dirt bike thing is new to me! Never got the privilege of owning one when I was a kid. I shopped around for 8 months looking at Xr600rs and this was the best one I found for the price. She runs like a raped ape!
Just changed the oil, brand new UNI filter, new turn signals (the ones in the picture were broken) and put on new spider grips. She's street legal (kinda). I don't have a speedometer and the tires aren't DOT... My buddy says he buzzed around on his xr600 for 15 years with offroad only nobbies and never got lectured on it by law enforcement.
