What a cool ride to work! Is that a green lane?

Sorry, not been on here for a while but yes, its an easy green lane up in the Peak District, north west of England. Many of them up here are quite tricky with rocks and rock steps etc but there are a few where you can let rip.........especially on the way to work if you go take the scenic route !!

I have that same rear fender, but I bought the bike with it on there. Haven't been able to find a manufacturer on it, so I can let a buddy know where to get one for his bike. Any chance you know this information?

This was put on by the previous owner, I beleive he said it is from a CRF450. He had to modify it to fit (lots of zip ties) then installed the Acerbis rear light kit. Really cleans up the rear end.

Even more stupid was the fact that it as just about possible to squeeze through a headge on the other side, ride through a field and miss the damn thing altogether. Thing is, you know what its like, you see it, convince yourself that it "can't really be that deep", consider the glory of making a bow-wave that would sink the Titanic and away you go..........well, for the first few yards anyway :banghead:

The track on the left looks okay but the area is mainly chalk-based and when that stuff is wet its hard to walk on it let alone ride. One of my other mates tried it on a previous occasion and ended up with the back wheel slipping in whilst the front remained on the track..........oh how we laughed

Ok perfect, that makes sense since the profile matches that of my current front fender as well. now I know what to order, in Black! I'm rocking the Baja Rear kit on my XRL, I prefer the turn signals being up a little closer to the back of the seat.

This is my 1983 XL600R pictured here back in 1983 on Camino Cielo Road above Santa Barbara, California. I bought it new from Ventura Honda. I still own it, with 8,003 miles. I last rode it in the early '90's. It has been dormant most of the time but has never spent a night outdoors. I'm in the process of freshening it up; I don't think it needs a down-to-the-frame restore.

That 83 is HOT!

I've been having a ton of fun with my bike since its rebuild. Went out with a group of buddies in the los padres national forest (big sur Ca) and put down 190 miles on sunday. Snapped a couple pics. It was a good day indeed!
