God that brings back memories. I used to go up there in the 70's, then over to to Lake E to buy beer. Are Saddleback Park and the Brown ranch still there?

Yep. Went up again yesterday with my dad and brother. Entered in at Maple Springs Rd then went down Indian truck trail. Had something to eat and came back the same way. Fun ride

Now that I think of it, it was the Robinson Ranch. Big off road riding area.

Pig(s) plural.

Great ride today.

I was missing my CRF250x with the magic button up ahead. Tons of deadfall, eventually turned around because it gets old hauling a PIG with a 6 gallon tank of fuel over logs.

Wolf Creek, Strawberry Reservoir area.

We ride quite a bit in your neck of the woods. Had a great Mesquite/St. George ride this March. Considered moving there..........

Hey, I thought I'd post a pic.

This one is when I bought the bike a couple of years ago.

Posted Image

This is a what it looked like last summer.

Posted Image

This is a most recent pic, now I need the bike for commuting so I added racks, center stand stock sprockets and other junk, its pretty heavy now. I have the NX650 second and fifth gears to install, some wiring to sort out and a few performance upgrades.

Good looking scoot :)

Thanks for the compliment ThumpNRed.

I bought an XR400 on ebay and this '98 was in the garage too, I never considered this bike before but thought the street legal part was a good idea after years of trailering dirt bikes, so we made a deal and I left with the L. Yeah its not an XR400 but it still gets me out and about and down the trail decently.

So far I've done the XR250R oil cooler, Buell lights, heated grips, RSW triple and brace, Eibach springs, FCR-MX, Cycra hand guards, Thumper racing baffle and stock muffler, wind screen, and a few other things. I really don't have a whole lot invested compared to a newer or different bike.

When I get some time off work this fall I'll get the gold valves, 600R piston, big fins head and etc, and maybe a kicker lever too. But for now this one does it for me as is.

I also wanted to state that what is happening here is something really nice and the help i got in here (not only from the threads i started by myself but also by reading other interesting threads) was a major factor in getting to know the new to me pig, back then.

Anyway just wanted to thank all those who help keep this thing running and all those who dedicate a minute or so in order to help a fellow rider.
