What will it look like if you scotchbrite the titanium pegs on the 450? I got a few scratches on the side of mine and have some free time in the garage to mess with the bike.

I was wondering about taking a scotchbrite pad to the pegs to shine them up a bit and hide the scratches.

What will the titanium look like after a few rides if I do this? Would it be better just to leave it alone?

No big deal, but wondered if anyone else had done this.

I'm not sure what the Ti pegs are alloyed with, but aircraft titanium will take a permanent fingerprint from skin oil.

It's a dirtbike... I wouldn't worry about it.
