If you ever have the headlight busted out of your WR you will wish you had this in it's place. A headlight lens is $119.00 and you don't need it during the daytime riding and thats when mine was smashed. If I had my brackets before my headlight was busted out I would be about $85.00 ahead of the game now. I guess better late than never.

This only cost me about $10 and a little time:

WOW you got cornholed $10.00 for some velcro and plastic. Hmmm mine that I made cost me 45 cents and the hardware store even cut it to size and shape.

By the way how does the velcro hold when the heat from the headlight softens the glue?

It was an 8x10 sheet. I made one for my buddy too.

It probably wasn't $10.

400 miles on it and I have an '05 with no light switch. I got the idea from a similar piece mounted to a sportbike.

Unfortunately the rock that hit my headlight was the size of a baseball and comming at me at about 60mph and I was going 60 mph toward it. I seen it comming toward me and the next thing I knew I seen it going away from me so impact had to be at about 120mph and the size of a baseball. I stood up on the pegs looked over the bars and no lens at all ...not just a crack no glass at all.

I used a steel mesh... It's tough to take a pic of it when mounted though.

I swap to a nb plate when I go to the track though. Only use the head light on road and trails...
