I do more reading then posting so I thought I would post a mod. I purchased a new Clarke 4 gal for my XRL and found it to be a little loose. I took the 1/8" steel rod that comes with it, a propane torch, (2) steel washers, (2) rubber washers, a vise, a beer, and 20 minutes, and fabbed up some quick brackets. Cheap, works great, and looks pretty clean (IMO)...

Nice I need to do that with mine :naughty: They should come with somthing better then that stupid steel rod which does nothing to keep the tank secure. :naughty:

Good Idea, I saw a similar mod on another forum that used wider steel. I like your idea might have to give it a whirl!
