Hey guys my first post here.I'm considering trading my 01 wr250 in on a clean 03 450f they have at a local shop.I'm wanting the xtra power of the 450 but am concerned about it being too much for the woods riding that I do.What can be done to these so that I can keep riding the tight woods and also enjoy the exta power I'm looking for?I've ridden an 00 426f how would it compare to the 03 450f in terms of power/weight?Thanks

I have only ridden a 426 once and it was good enough to convince me to buy a 450. The 450's i do believe are about 10 lbs lighter than the 426 which makes a big difference in rideability. Overall the 450 is a great bike with plenty of power to do whatever you want with them.

except climb sand mountain. I love the power of my 450, but i would like more for the sand. Dont get me wrong, the 450 has lots of power, but when you hit sand, it drains lots of it.
