is the decompression plug right below the head on the right side between the exhaust manifold and the head? my friend blew a plug out on his 450 today and he calls me up and thats where he described it as being. said it was about a 1/2" to 3/4" plug and oil poured out like crazy when it blew out.. he couldnt find the plug and i ordered him a decompression plug off here.. hope i ordered the right part.

Right below the valve cover on the right side and just above the exhaust manifold. Sounds like you got it right.

It's in the head, below the cam cover. Looking at the front of the engine. it's at 11:00 o'clock from the exhaust port.

Tell him to check his breather tube for being pinched.
