01 yz426 Dual Sport... Thoughts?

I'm looking to buy yz426 thats titled for the street too. I live on a farm, so it would mainly be used on short trips here and there. I would also occassionally use it on a longer trip. What are your thoughts.

It's not the best bike in the world for a commuter, but as long as you don't plan on any major highway travel, go for it. Backroads and the twisty stuff are a lot of fun. :naughty: Remember that it is a race bike though, so you'll need to keep up on the maintenace.....oil changes, valve clearances, etc.

You will over heat in town - like at a stop light. It wouldn't be my first choice. Look at a XR a DRZ or even a WR

I have never had a problem overheating! I love to rip around town on my MX. :naughty:
