I've bought my 2005 YZ450F right from Japan. It has arrived to Russia in five used cars' trunks (one wheel in one car, engine in another etc.) We in Russia don't like to pay to customs :naughty:

So I don't have any manual for my bike. I have Clymer manual for already sold YZ400F, but YZ450F is a bit different:)

On TT I've found the link to download 2003 YZ450F manual but still wonder whether somebody can supply a fresh link to fresh manual. Thanks for any help. TT is really amazing resource!

try this
http://www.yamaha-motor.com

go to parts/service to service manuals - 2003-2004 should work - the 05 is not there yet - basically the same - :naughty:

Grease the steering head bearings - this is critical the rest are either sealed or a least semi coated from factory -

tell us about riding in Russia - :naughty:

Well, I think riding in Russia is the same fun as everywhere:) I live in Chita, in eastern part of Siberia, so the first race is at 1st of May. Some guys try to ride sometimes at winter, but when it's 30-40 C below zero this is NOT fun :naughty:

In season we have 4 races in two another siberian cities. To reach them we must go 750 miles to one and 1200 miles to another. But these trips are even more fun - to live in tents, to prepare food on gas oven and on the way back to have a rest a couple of days near our beautiful forest lakes.

Russia is fun for persons who understand it, and MX doubles or even triples this fun :naughty:
