O.K. Hopefully the Mods will sticky this post.

I briefly read over the instructions for the 230F power up and it's pretty much the same for the 150F. If you have trouble with the install, use the "search" feature. If you can't find what you're looking for with "search", post a question, lots of great folks here with the same passion you have, Dirtbikes!!! :naughty:
So, that being said, here are the recommended** part numbers for the POWER UP Mod for the 2003-2005 CRF 150F.

-99103-KPT-0420-Slow jet (42 being the size, stock is 40)

-99113-GHB-1150-Main jet (115 being the size, stock is 98)

-16012-KPT-921-Needle set

**These parts might not be right for each and every 150. Proper jetting is affected by temperature, altitude and humidity.

If you install the parts above you also need to do the following,
-Remove the snorkel from the top of the air box, you need to remove your seat to do this.
-Remove the exhaust baffle from the end of the stock muffler.
-Buy a hi flow air filter, TwinAir or Uni.
-You might also consider removing the backfire screen from inside the airbox, this will help increase the amount of air entering the carb.

Get yourself a Service Manual for your bike, everything you need to know is in there.

Good luck with this easy modification, you will notice a considerable difference in power after you do this.

best pictorial? IMHO, my pictures are more than enough needed.

Do not remove the backfire screen unless you use Twinair's special backfire filter. If you use a normal filter, a backfire that belches back into the airbox could start a fire. Honda put it there for a reason. Keep it there.

I've had my filter screen out for almost a year now, there is no sign whatsoever of backfire and I ride my bike like it's stolen.

the backfire screen is more for old school bikes , there has been almost no fires in the past few years due to a no backfire screen. and i believe all of twinairs filters are fire proof

I just ran down to my local honda shop and they only list a main up to 108 and won't order anything but OEM stuff. :naughty:

Thank you all for your help. I'm not going riding this week so I will continue to work on the 150. DMC Alien pipe, 2 bros fork springs, 2 bros rear shock spring, Renthal 480 chain wheel kit, the suggested power up kit for the stock 150f for lower elevation. Good night to you all!

would these jets work for an altitude of 200 ft above sea level? the average temp. here is probably 65-75

Put the kit in last weekend and rode the bike Monday. Ran great! Seemed significantly more powerful up hill.
Notes
- Put the needle on the 4th notch from the top, as my dealer suggested. Seemed fine.
- Didn't have to touch the idle screw (throttle stop) or the pilot screw, although I should check these and will eventually
- starts much easier.
- Ramsey's pictures are for the wrong carb, a 230, don't bother looking at them for the 150: get the Honda manual. The slide assembly is much different.
- took me about 2 hours because I was fiddling a bit, but it should have only taken 45 minutes!

Why isn't this thread really a sticky?

I just got an 03 CRF150, and it bogs on initial acceleration, it has a 115 main jet, a 40 slow jet, and the needle was all the way down and has an "18L" on it, I don't know if this is stock or aftermarket. and the pilot screw was backed out almost all the way. How should this be set up? Any ideas??? Do you know if this needle is stock or not?? Thanks.
