It doesn't look like anyone has posted this yet. It's the 250F they ran at the first Japaneese National last weekend. Looks like they already have the new bodywork to go with this aluminum frame. I'd say it looks like an 06 to me.

There's another thread on this too. Something about 250F with aluminum frame. Looks good to me!

Check out the oil tank behind the skid plate. Keeps the dry sump and lowers the CG all at the same time. :naughty:

I like the black tank, much easier to keep your bike looking good. It looks like it's kind of a semi perimeter frame, maybe a short backbone under the middle of the tank.

I downloaded the bigger picture and zoomed it. :D Besides, I was looking for it.

It looks like it's kind of a semi perimeter frame, maybe a short backbone under the middle of the tank.

Looks like the spars join about under the front third of the gas tank. Notice that they start forward at a point far enough above the swing arm bolt that the carb isn't totally covered over. :naughty:

man the 450 looks like it's got the seat from an 02 model on it. So much for flat seats.

The header looks like it blocks the oil filter cover too, a la 98-00. Hopefully they change that stuff before they start sending them to the states. The shrouds are a little weird too.
