I ordered one from the TT store 2 weeks ago and don't have it yet.  :naughty: :naughty: I friend of mine has one in his 05 450X. You'll have to turn to carb just right to get it in. Once it's in you can get to it but it's tight due to the starter.

two weeks?  that's a ridiculous wait for a fuel screw.  i'm wondering if the white brothers fuel screw would be better since it doesn't have a large head on it..just a t-bar.

Two weeks is ridiculous. Especially when I paid for two day shipping.  :naughty:

I also have the WB T Handle fuel screw. It seemed to fit a little tighter and was hard to turn. Hurt my little fingers. :D I'm hoping that WHEN I RECEIVE IT FROM TT  :naughty: , it turns a little smoother.

Hey i put one in mine and it is nice to be able to make a quick adjustment but the dam thing adjust it's self.  I check it before every ride and it is always backing out.  I heard one guy lost his so i check it all the time.  I think i will have to go back to the stock screw.  Anyone Else having this problem. :naughty:

Ispent some time playing with jetting on my 450x yesterday. Getting to the fuel screw is pretty easy if thats all you want to do. As previously stated just spin the carb for access. Now, getting the carb out and in your hands is a bit more "involved"... :naughty:

btw....The valve adjust is pretty simple too. I had two 001 out of spec(one loose and one tight) and a third one on the tight side of the spec.

Yes, they fit over the starter - about .050" clearance.
I find that the vent drain tube gets in the way for adjustment - but it's easy to unclip and move out of the way.

If your screw is coming loose (self adjusting), remove the needle, spring washer and o-ring, stretch the spring VERY EASILY so it's about 1/8" longer.  Puts a tad more preload on the fuel screw and should hold it in place.

A dab of grease on the screw will also help it stay put.
