crf450x head pipe

I noticed while I was at my local Honda dealer that 450x's have a "low-boy" style headpipe. Anyone know if it is titanium like the R's? What do you guys think about putting one on a 450R? Will it give a little more bottom, or destroy top end? If anyone has an X and wants to get rid of their headpipe, let me know. I want to experiment. :naughty:

No, its stainless steel just like the rest of the exhaust system.

I am loking for a pipe guard for my X. It seems like it is just waiting to get all dinged up.

E-line said they should have one out in two weeks, Pipe guard will be about $80.00.

Does anyone know if the 05 CRFX head pipe will fit stock 04 CRFR cannister/muffler
