426, top speed, gearing?

hey, i have an '01 426 and was wondering what the approximate horsepower was (if available please spicfy rear wheel or from engine), and with stock gearing what the top speed is? if i were to bring the rear sprocket down a tooth what about would it bring the top speed to? any input is gretly appreciated, everyone hear at TT is great, thanks for the help

A stock 426 should produce in the neighborhood of 44-46 horsepower if properly jetted.

At 11,000 rpm in 5th, not calculating for any tire slippage (there always is some), it would run about 92 mph. Each tooth within a range of 3-4 teeth either way would raise or lower the speed about 2 mph.
