426 with dry-sump...How much oil needed??

Hey guys I just bought one of Randy Hawkins' tricked out 426..(didn't buy it from Randy himself...so I thought I'd get on here and see if anyone knows how much oil to put in the motor after it has been converted to a Dry-Sump :naughty: ...Thanks abunch, Mitch

you will be save with 850 to 1 qt. 1 qt what is Dale, Randy's mech, put in the bikes

The 426 is a dry sump to begin with, as are all YZF's. Do you mean it was converted to a wet sump, in which no oil is carried in an external reservoir?

Most importantly oil changes are approx half the time as with Dry Sump motors - Replace every race and every ride!
