I have the enduro computer from my 1985 XR600. It's in excellent shape and is considered to be one of the better computers made. I sold the bike 5 yrs. ago and kept the computer. Can it be put onto my YZF426. I would probably have to get the WR housing. Do new bikes have similar cable hook-ups?

You will need the WR odo drive and it should read accurately assuming the WR has a 1:1 wheel rotation to cable rotation ratio, which I'm pretty sure all Japanese bikes do.

I think the WR odo uses the same hookup as the XRs always have.

And if it doesnt end up working out, I'll buy the comp off of you. :)

Thanks for the info. My computer actually has less then 5 hrs. on it. I broke the one that came with the bike and was so mad that I paid the $300 to get a replacement from Honda. I ended up selling the bike a few months later and obviously kept the new computer. I'll let you know if I decide to sell it.
