Blueing of Head pipe 04yz450F (stock)

Hey guys is it normal for the Head pipe to be blueing.. Mine has blued about half of the headpipe...was running good untill the other day..had to adjust the fuel/airscrew...but before that..no popping or sputter or backfiring on decel...but pipe was still blueing...thanks

My FMF turns a bright blue clear to the muffler can in the desert. It's normal. Four stroke exhausts are hot! "Avoid direct contact with the skin..." :)

PS: if you want to see something, start your bike an hour after sundown and let it idle in the dark for about 1-3 minutes. Then you can come back and do a search for threads on "my header glows red...&%$#@!" :)

That is because your headpipe is Ttanium! Looks cool doesn't it! couldn't be a better color! LOL!

Except for the can, the entire stock exhaust system of a YZ450 is titanium.
