Tire to close to linkage????

I have a taller front and rear sprocket on my 450. The rear tire is really close to the linkage ? Can the tire rub it if the suspension is compressed ? I took it for a quick ride and didn't notice any rub marks. It does rub the black plastic mud guard.

I just want to make sure that I dont come off a big hit and go over the bars Its like a 1/4-1/2" from the likage ?

Add a couple links to you chain and move the wheel back ?

I agree... I wouldnt want my tire that close to the guard. Just add a couple links to the chain or you will end up wearing out that guard. Its important to have that there or you could damage your shock.

I would think a bike shop would have some "cut-offs" kickin around from other bikes they have put new chains on. Just bring them your chain so they can match it up and ask them for another master-link. You can add the new piece of chain with the extra link. You will only need a very short piece to move your tire back.

Bingo! If you replaced the sprockets, you should replace the chain with them.
