03 WR450 header pipe

Anybody know if the 03, 04, and 05 WR450f header pipe are the same? I trashed my header pipe and I'm looking for a used stock replacement (anybody got one?) I want to know if I can use one from any of these bikes because that should make it easier to find one. Thanks!

Get the 02 WR426 SS version at half the price! or expect to have the Titanium one collapse again. ? I went thru 4 of the stockers before going to SS! The Titanium ones heat cycle fatigue and one small rock will ping and collapse them once they are ready to go. ? I think I hit a butterfly on the last one and it collapsed like a beer can under an elephant! ?

I have a spare one that is new and never used I can sell you for $100 with a new heat sheild ( different than the 03). I have since gone to the Power bomb header. I bought it from Yamaha for $180.00 I can ship it to you send me a PM if you are interested. ?

yamaha (gytr) sells a stainless header pipe for the '03-'05 wr450 for $125. the part number is GYT5TA935000. you can get it through your dealer. it's made by white bros.

It's not actually made by White Brothers. That headpipe was designed by Yamaha when the factory race team was using GYT-R exhaust systems. The old YZ/WR400 exhaust systems were made by White Bros. Not anymore.

I went with a slightly used SS header off a 01 YZF426. Got it for $25! I'd check on Ebay and see what you can find...

it's funny how many guys waste the header pipes on wr's. watch e-bay, the header pipe will go for more than the exhaust can.

No offense taken. I use it for a back up header in my extensive spare parts box I take with me on rides. Since going to SS power bomb I have not had a problem with header durability. I will just keep it as a spare if no one wants it. The heat shield and header cost me $180.00 and you cant buy it for less unless you get an aftermarket deal. ?
