Do a search on "P38"...read up on BK Mod as well, both accomplish the same thing. I have a P38 on my '01 YZ250F, and stock jetting, runs great. I think there's consensus (based on what I've read) that the P38 and BK mod worked wonders for the '01, but I don't think it's as big a bang for the buck on the "02...I understand they made some minor changes/improvements to the '02 carbs. Just my thoughts....do the search and judge for yourself.
If I had an '02, I'd skip the P38, and first get a Dubach pipe.
