My son, Motoman_Az, introduced me to ThumperTalk last night. I've been riding a 1997 Polaris 500 Explorer (in the Bradshaw Mountains of Arizona, mostly) for 6 years. My dogs, Rocky and Dakota, ride with me every day. We love it. Would love to hear from other Thumpettes.

Welcome. I use to race at the hillclimbs with a youngster named Freddie Marsh who was still racing into his late eighties. I believe he also still rode daily until his death in his late nineties. Those from Conneticut will remember him well. It just goes to show you that the excitement and thrill of motorcycles actually really does make you younger. Welcome aboard Mom and try to send us some mountain pics.

I just read an article about about Beryl Grilley of Pendleton, OR who still rides horses at 94.

She also still helps local ranchers gather cattle in the fall and rides the with wagon train during an annual week long reenactment of the Oregon Trail emigration.

Isn't THAT amazing??????

When ya gotta ride you gotta ride. Granted it's not a bike but DANG.
