I have a '02 250F, I have the drill down for starting except when it's cold. It probably takes 40 kicks to get it going. After its warm one or two kicks, with NO hotstart button. I ride in Southern Cal, is there jetting that needs to be changed or adjustments to made that will help ? Thanks for any assistance.

when COLD
1. choke on
2. 2/3 times rolling off the throttle FAST, because when you do it slow, the acc pump does not work
3. the drill, with NO throttle
4. let it idle for a few minutes, then put off the choke
5. Go for it!!

Works always with mine, hope for you the same!!

as above, 'cept. I roll the throttle 1 time.
I was told at the dealers to hold the throttle and kill the choke asap.
