time to check valve clearance?

ok ... my 2004 yz450f is making a weird clicking noise up in the valve train it will go away afer the bike warms up for a minute or 2 but last time it didnt go away soo ... this isnt normal could it be that my valves need adjustment or something of that nature... ? oil level is perfect and has brand new oil... :) :p :)

Check the clearance. Also take a look at your chain tensioner (of the engine) and check for undue looseness or a tendency to either stick or skip under pressure.

My bike makes a clicking sound as well as all the other bikes I had. It sounds normal to me. Check the valve clearance anyhow even though I doubt it needs adj. :)
