After you win the auction you will learn, as I did, that they are on backorder.

Not a big deal for me in the middle of a VT winter .... just expect to wait awhile (they told me 2 weeks).

They are very good about offering a refund if you can't wait. :)

It's a different way to do a "Buy it now"

I waited almost four months for one and almost seven months for the other but, I was told that Edelbrock was having a hard time getting some of the parts. :)

I guess it isn't bad if you know you are not getting what you bought now for a while.

I ordered one last Friday from Barnum's EBAY store after I spoke with Rob on the phone. He said Edelbrock was waiting on some casting parts in order to finishing building the carbs for the 650R's. It looked like they would have the parts to Edelbrock by the end of this week so he should have the carbs to him very soon. :) Can't hardly wait....... :)

So is that actually a good deal on them, or is it just on ebay to get extra attention?

I have seen the Edelbrock for the XR650R (Pumper) for $359 on ebay. Barnum has sold them that low before.
