For anyone who has a 650R in street supermoto duty (17's) can you tell me what chain length you are running with which gearing?

I'm going to be setting up a 15/42 and would like to know where to start for the chain.

Thanks.

I run a standard chain with 15/46 gearing on 17" road wheels & Dunlop Tyres.

It will do about 90 odd flat out and cruise at 80mph. It still has lots of grunt low down and accelerates like a bastard. :)

A lot of guys seem to go for 15/42 but to be honest I think you loose a little sparkle just to be able to hit 100mph when most of the time you ride between 0 and say 70mph.
