Rear shock

I have an 84 XR 500 so this is the closest place I could find that it would fit.

I need to "tighten up" the rear spring on my bike. I do not have the spanner wrench. Is this something that the dealer might still have available at an afordable price, or does anyone here have one that they would make me a deal on?

How about a hammer and a drift or old screw driver.. ?

Those have worked in a pinch for me ?

Thats all I have ever used. No need to buy the spaner wrench just a wast of money and time. If you were to try to use one you would just about take the whole back half apart. With the old screw driver or drift just stick it in and wack it and then you are done and riding. I hope this has helped you out. ?
