which it is the ratio between Shaft Sprockets/Rear Sprocket on the '99 yz400?

count the teeth front and rear then divide the front by the rear.

Stock the bike had 14/49 (3.5:1 ratio)

My point is the bike is 6-7 years old. Chances are the stock sprockets are not on the bike. Thus count the teeth to find out the ratio of what is on the bike.

Matt, read what you posted.
You divide the rear by the front to find ratio. Not how you stated.
