I bought a Rekluse Z-Start and I am wondering if the z-start will fix the low end bog my bike has or will it still be there. I usually run a little higher idle to fix it, but with the auto-clutch that wont be such a good idea.

Should I still go ahead and get the Power-Now or not? Help me out guys.

Thanks,
Ed

What bike do you have that has a low end bog? You should make a signature so everyone can tell what bike you are taliking about.

Try a richer pilot and the JD jetting blue needle.

Your clutch or the z-start have nothing to do with your bikes bog

Start by giving the carb a good cleaning. It has happened to me more than once

When is the last time you cleaned your carb / adjusted you valves or checked them.

Many factors will be part of the bog issue
1: Jetting at your altitude
2: Dirty Carb
3: Cheep gas
4: Bad Plug or old plug
5: Dirty Air Filter
6: Valves out of adjustment
7: Ignition

So with that you have a few option to choose from
Personally I would start with a clean Carb / Filter and New plug. If that did not fix the bog issue then I would move to the GBmod
GBmod Hot To Link "Thanks Motoman393"

If that don't cut it then Go to jetting, you will need to know a few things to start
1: your Current Jetting on the bike, aka Main, Needle and Position
2: Altitude you ride in above sea level
3: Weather Is it hot cold wet

Oh Ya BTW the Zstart has nothing to do with the bog

It is an 02 so the GB/BK mod is not applicable (I know it can still be done physically, but isnt necessary) I would check the duration of the pump spray while cleaning the carb just in case. The Power Now does help low end and starting. Also try JD's jetting kit, it gets rave reviews!
