hi larosa i dont know if this will help u but i ll give ya some info my 05 kxf was a bit harsh on small stuff & braking bumps so i did the shockdoc bladder removal & it makes it quite sweet.lol look into this forum for the howtodoit & if u cant find it lv me a message & ill try to help ya. u basically remove a few washers & springs from the fork & then change the oil level then its much smoother & its only ur time involved..if u dont like it u can put it back to stock .. but i like it & im keeping it & running all clickers at about 14/15 clicks out but im 180 w gear on so u might wanna run ur clickers around 8 or 10.. i do gncc & hare scrambles mostly so not alot of really big jumps. hope this helps ya seeya

I'm 6'3" and 200lbs and just received my suspension back from Race Tech. I had gold valves installed in the forks and shock. I also changed the springs to the one's recommended for my weight.

I won't get to ride until next week, but will let you know what I think. I asked for "plusher" suspension.

hey chas459
i am thinking about getting my suspension set up for racing and my weight, but the aat looks very small and not very good for racing.
So is it good for racing motocross or not?

I had mine done by john mitchell out of houston, texas...

it feels a lot better going into rough corners and it no longer bottoms out when i come up a little short on doubles...

i am 6'2" and 190lbs and he kept the stock spring rate and revalved it along with a specific amount of fork oil..

the bike also feels a lot better while jumping...it stays in a more neutral position in the air instead of the back end being so high a lot of the time...

www.repracing.com
They do awesome work, they used to do Dowds, Henrys and Bradon Jessemens when they were privateers. They also did Josh Demuths bikes when he was riding Suzuki's when hw first started riding the National Arenacrosses. I have been with them for 10 years and I won't use anything else. I have the best handling bikes on the track. Or 413-737-0355 ask for Tony and tell them Todd Walton sent u. They are pretty easy to work with and reasonible!:busted:
