i live in wi nd was wondering if overheating is really that big of an issue

Overheating really is not a big deal. I have never had my bike overheat. just dont let it sit in one spot and run for 5 minutes.

If your woried about it, change your raditorcap. To a bigger one

He means to a 1.6 pressure cap. Don't overfill radiators, leave a little room for expansion. If you ride the clutch alot it will warm things up quick as the oil transfers the heat to the coolant.

i,have two rmz;s they both overheat. the one i ride has high flow pump 1.6 cap engine ice and 45 pilot. tomorrow it gets its third head fourth piston ,and the second time to split cases. if you ride woods or hills,trust me buy oversize raditors. hope this helps.masterlink

My bike only overheated once after I tried going up a steep hill with a bald tire (i'm talking rounded knobbies that are an 1/8 of an inch tall). Some people have had issues with overheating, but the majority haven't. A lot of it has to do with how you ride too.
