Yes...it will work fine without the screen.

You don't HAVE too...it'll work without a fire resistant filter. It's a risk, sure, but it will work.

I can't see going to the trouble of pulling the screen and not changing the filter...

Ok think about this (i cut the screen out also and it wouks fine and no fires yet) but you buy a fire proof filter take it home and before you put it in your bike you do what? OIL IT! Now does airfilter oil burn? just a guess but i think it does

NO Toil filter oil is not flamable, the problem is the filter foam will still burn. I am doing the same thing, no screen with stock filters and No Toil oil. I have not had any fires or melted filters.

Dont say that im criticizing you but No-Toil doesnt catch the verry fine dust and dirt we kept seizing up mod 85 motors (usualy 1ce a race normaly didnt make it through the 1st moto) we switched to maxima and havent had 1 motor have anyhting wrong with it

No offense on my part. You must have different dirt in Michigan, I've used the No Toil oil on 4 or 5 bikes over the last couple of years. My motors have all been clean with no signs of dirt getting through the filter. I ride MX tracks about 90% so maybe that helps (it ain't because I'm out front of the pack). The biggest reason I like NO Toil is that I can wash the filters in the washing machine.

i have had also lots of sand in the airboot with NO TOIL Oil.
but only when i was riding in the deep, fine sand of denmark.
I use SILKOLENE now and never got sand in the Airboot again.
But seems NO TOIL is the only Air Filter Oil that doesnt burn.

Are you cutting out the screen on your KXF/RMZ, or are you removing
the hole part and use a PRO CIRCUIT Screen Eliminator Kit?
And whats best for reseal the boot to the airbox? Silicon?

Twin Air Sells Fire Resistant Filters Seperately For Those That Have Taken Out The Screens. About $ 5.00 More Than Their Regular Ones.
