Look at this deer my husband had to put down at work the other day. He couln't even tag it and bring it home  :cry: :cry: I guess animal control came out and hauled it away... :cry:  :cry:

No, he wasn't hunting. He was at work and got a call for a hurt deer...

That looks like a car -ar15 (collaspable stock ) not an M4. Thats why he couldn't keep the meat !! :cry: :cry:

Couldn't keep the meat because it is not FDA approved (LOL), no I think my K-9 partner would have had it for lunch if I allowed it......Fish & Game had a report of the injured deer, the area game warden was unable to respond, so they requested our (Sheriff's Department) assistance. We get those type of calls atleast every 2-3 days. It's very common for the location (southern border of Yosemite N.P.) for deer to run in front of cars. The rifle is a Colt M4-A3, department/swat issue, and no, I don't hunt with that rifle. I was on duty, dispatched to the call, and carry that rifle on patrol. I opted to use it to put the buck down VS my .40 S&W (a little more humane, but I guess I could always put my M1A national match back in the trunk :cry: )........Please excuse mommyrider for her air-headed-nes, she is on vikoden to treat her riding injury :cry:
