Had a guy go down and a tree saved him from ending up in a bottomless pit!
We started out too late and I had to ride back in the rain and the dark behind my wife so I could see where I was going, my DAMN headlight busted about 3/4 of the way back  Next time we start earlier and listen to the weather man, it started raining on the way back and it didn't stop for two days!!

Here are some pics from the adventure.

He slid off the road trying to keep up with a REALLY fast guy that was leading and smashed the knee up. Nothing broken, little soft tissue damage that will heal up fine the doc says

Man he is lucky!!!  There is atleast one person every couple of years that makes the local news by falling into a mine shaft. A person about a month ago near by fell about 500 feet

Right on!  Always an adventure!  Wish I would have gotten your post about the ride before the fact.  We'll have to catch you on the next one!

We ended up wheeling over on TR42 by Bartlett lake.  Man o man did it rain hard coming out of there!

Looks like a fun group!

Can't say I've ever seen a bike loaded on to the roof of a jeep before. Good thing he had a roof rack. What would you guys done if he didn't have the rack...put it in the back seat? Extreme situations demand extreme solutions.
Good thing there was a bunch of you.
