I was going to trade my tripple clamp from my 03 450 to my 05. I went to do it tonight and the one from my 03 doesn't quite fit right. I could probably force it on there, but are they supposed to be different? I don't want to ruin something by forcing it on there.

Don't try and force it. The '04 -up YZF's have larger forks, so it ain't gonna happen. I presume it's an aftermarket top clamp, so i'm sure you could sell it in the TT classifieds, and put the money towards a new clamp for your '05.
