Are Kenda K-270's directional

Just got my new Kendas. Man, that tire is more aggressive than I thought it would be based on the pictures...this is a good thing! The front is questionable, but anything is better than the 'wings!

So I looked at the tires last night and did not see and direction arrows, so I am assuming that they can be mounted either way. Justr want to make sure I'm not over looking something obvious! Also, what pressures seem to work well for them on the street?

Well, I can't speak for the direction, But I am looking for a front tire. 13,000 on my 604D Dunlop and starting to look a little grim, and that tire has been discontinued, replaced by 607D which looks to have become even more streetish. But I did check out the Kenda pics and was surprised at the good rating they get on the street , but after you try em out on some wet street I would be interested to know how they do in comparison to the wings on the street.

I'll be sure to let you know how they do. Front what I have heard here and from local friends, the 270's do fairly well on wet pavement. Although I'm not going to try to drag a footpeg or anything with these tires! From what I understand laying it down low in the corners is not as do-able as it was with the stock 'wings, which makes sense since the Kendas are a lot more knobbie than the wings, but by no means a real knobby.

I have the Kendas on my bike. I think they work great in the dirt and ok on the street. You won't be leaning the bike over as far as you can with the Wings, but they make the 400s feel like a true dirtbike when you are offroad. Other than the lean angle and road noise, the tires are ok for street.

If they're not mark as directional, they're not. I agree with you that the k270 rears look pretty aggressive. A lot more so in person and than the pictures show. I saw them last night when I went to a shop to order some K760. If the K760 rears wears too fast, I might try the K270 next.

I'd stick with the stock pressures for street riding.

Yeah they are a medium-aggresive. I think im going to go with the trakmaster II's next season.

I put about 1300km (i dunno...900 miles?) and about 1/4 of them were dirt, the rest were hard pushes street miles. Its still got a good few miles left out of the tires, but in the spring ill probly grab some trakmasters anyways.

I only have a 270 on the rear though, on the front ive got the 257's which are a motocross tire. Kind of luck of the draw to find DOT numbers on them or not, but mine does.

I need to re-cut those knobs on the front or something though, because they are all worn to a smooth slope on one edge.

How long do you think your k270 will last? Would you say the tire is about half gone at 1300km? I would have guessed that the tire would be quite good on wear.

I have them on my XL 125 what size did you use on your DRZ?

I put a 3.25-21 on the front and a 5.10-18 on the rear.
