After riding my buddy's KLX300 for a while, all I can say is BWAAA HAAA HAAA, glad I bought the WR250F!! Riding that green steel piglet was fun but that thing is heavier and slower to respond to throttle (his is stock without the pumper carb added). It does have more low-end grunt, however, the mid-high range on the WR is so much better.
On the flipside, I couldn't get him off my WR! He took off and kept riding down the trails he was having so much fun he lost track of distance!
I am rather short, 5'8", so I was initially intimidated by the WR's size compared to other bikes, but now I consider other bikes just toyz! Thanks, Yamaha, for the WR250F!!
