I recently replaced my WR tank with the YZ tank -now that I can get further forward in the corners I find that I am having problems weighting the outside peg, because my body is more in front of the peg. I find that my foot is pushing on the front of the peg, as opposed to squarely weighting the top.

With the WR tank my body was further back, and more closely centered over the top of the peg, so it was very easy to weight it.

Any suggestions or is this the correct technique?

Being that far forward will feel strange at first but you'll get used to it. I have the slim YZ tank.

Feel that the C of G is so low compare to the 400F that crawling up to the gas cap and sticking you inner leg way forward (to weight the front) with a slight bend and toes outward allways does the trick of turning it around, even if you can't weigh the outside peg sqarely like you could before.
