Does anyone know if a skidplate that fits a 1996 XR250R will fit a 2000 XR250r???

The 1996 is identical to the 2000 XR-250 model except for the color red. Should fit just fine.

Thanks, I thought that was how it was but it is on ebay for cheap and there isn't a refund if it doesn't fit.
