This past weekend my bike locked up while riding. After looking the bike over, I can see that the "half-moom" shaped seal on the cam gear side of the head gasket is missing. I didn't lose any oil. Has anyone seen this before?

Yeah your crancase vent tube is either pinched or blocked and the pressure blew it out. I don't know if you have the decompression plug in that bike or not. If you do your lucky it did not blow out. Plus you probably seized something in the top end for it to lock up like that.

Thanks for the info, I'll be taking the top end off later this week.
